A light grey hand painted backdrop with a low, even texture. The grey is neutral with a faint warm cast, lighter through the middle and a touch deeper towards the lower edge. Soft cloudy mottling gives it some life without pulling the eye away from the subject.
It is the easy grey. It works for headshots, children, product tables and anything that needs a calm, clean background. At 122x180cm it hangs from a simple stand, fits a small home studio and travels in the car.
The canvas is reversible. The paint soaks through as it dries, so the back is a warm cream with grey patches and a stronger, rougher pattern. You get a second, more textured backdrop from the same canvas. The pattern on the back is unique to this piece.
