Every backdrop is painted by hand on heavyweight cotton canvas, so each one is a genuine one-off. Below are our standard sizes and guide prices — custom dimensions and colours are always welcome.

Which size is right for you?
- Extra Small100 × 135 cm£170
- It’s all about travel, portability and usability — think headshots, faces and backdrop stacking. A great add-on to your order, or on their own for close-up, food or product work. They’re great for creating stacked textures and corners, and have a texturised reverse side for greater variety.
- Small122 × 180 cm£290
- A fantastic backdrop for headshots, and for stacking to emphasise the important subject, add dimension to the image, or use complementary colours.
- Medium130 × 270 cm£340
- A great standalone choice, especially for half/full-body compositions, headshots and portraits. Stacks well with our small backdrops, works for corners, and is mounted on an aluminium core for secure storage and portability.
- Large180 × 270 cm£430
- Great for couple shoots, small families, or 2–3 friends snuggled together. Portable and fits into most cars, so you can take them on location. Pair with one of our small drops on a Matthelini clamp to layer texture and get real depth. Comes with an aluminium tube.
- XL270 × 270 cm£570
- Fantastic for couple shoots, families and full-body shoots for 3–4 people. Easily portable in estate cars and a mainstay for many studio photographers. Our most popular size — if you only buy one backdrop, this is the one to go for, and a grey one will cover most shooting situations.
- XXL270 × 340 cm£680
- A big, versatile drop — great for families and any shoot involving movement, so ideal if you shoot dancers or young children. Also excellent as a floor drop, and comes mounted on an aluminium tube. Mounts to a standard studio backdrop system or using two C-Stands.
- XXXL270 × 430 cm£860
- Our biggest canvas — made for large family groups, editorial sets and full scenes with room to spare. The extra width lets you shoot wide compositions, or sweep the drop under your subject for a seamless wall-and-floor look without ever running out of backdrop. Comes mounted on an aluminium tube; pair it with a sturdy backdrop system or two C-Stands and give it the studio space it deserves.

How ordering works
Many backdrops are kept in stock and ready to ship. If you've found the piece you want, you can order it straight from its product page. Because each canvas is hand-painted, once an in-stock piece sells it's gone — so if something is sold out, message the studio and we'll let you know about a reorder.
Custom & made-to-order
Prefer a specific colour, size or texture? Custom backdrops are made to order, and we send you approval photos before anything ships, so you can see the piece before it leaves the studio. The maximum size we paint is 2.7 × 4.3 metres.
Turnaround
In-stock backdrops ship within 1–2 business days. Bespoke, made-to-order pieces typically take 2–3 weeks to paint and cure before they're packed and shipped.
