Grey Strong Texture Hand Painted Backdrop 122x180cm — Slate Storm

A slate blue-grey hand painted backdrop with a strong texture. Broad silver-white roller passes run down the canvas, heaviest at the sides, over a darker charcoal-grey ground. The middle stays calmer, so a subject sits in the quiet part of the canvas with the busier marks framing them.

It is the kind of backdrop that does a lot of the styling for you. It suits moody portraits, editorial fashion and anything that wants a worn, weathered wall behind it. At 122x180cm it is a compact size that hangs from a simple stand, easy to move between rooms or take on location.

The texture is painted, not printed, so the marks catch the light differently as you move it. Every canvas is painted by hand and this pattern exists only once.

Hand painted in the UK on canvas.
