Light Grey Hand Painted Backdrop 180x270cm — Mist Grey

A light grey hand painted backdrop with a low, mottled texture and slightly darker edges. It is a cooler, cleaner grey than our warm greys, with soft lighter patches in the middle that give a portrait a little depth without drawing attention to the background.

At 180x270cm it covers full-length portraits, couples and small groups. Light grey is one of the most useful colours to own: it works for headshots, family, newborn and product work, and you can make it read lighter or darker just by moving your light closer to or further from the canvas.

The canvas is reversible. The paint soaks through as it dries and leaves the back cream with grey patches scattered across it, heavier on the left side. It looks like old plaster and gives you a second, warmer background from the same canvas. The pattern is unique to this piece.
