Chalk Light — Off-White Pale Grey Hand Painted Backdrop 122x180cm

An off-white hand painted backdrop that sits between chalk white and the palest grey, with a very low texture and a slight darkening towards the edges. It is the lightest backdrop in the studio and behaves like a soft white wall: clean behind a subject, but with enough variation in the paint that it never looks flat or glaring the way paper does. It suits bright, airy portraits, newborn and family work, product shots and anything that wants a white background without the harshness of pure white. At 122x180cm it is an easy size to hang from a stand and to carry to a client's home. The canvas is reversible. The paint soaks through as it dries and leaves the back a warm cream with soft grey patches, heavier in the top corners and along one side.
