Three-Way Counterweight Sandbag for Light Stands and C-Stands

A sandbag is the cheapest insurance in any studio. Wrapped over the base of a light stand, boom stand or C-stand, this one adds weight low down, which lowers the stand's centre of gravity and makes it far harder to knock over. That matters most when a light is raised high or sitting on a boom, and when stands are working close to a painted canvas backdrop and people are moving around the set.

Outdoors it does the same job against the wind, keeping a stand and its modifier from blowing over on location.

It's made from a tough, water-resistant canvas that copes with daily studio use and with damp ground outside. Please note it arrives empty, so you'll need to fill it before use.
