Godox XTR16 Wireless Receiver for Older Godox Strobes
If you have older Godox or PiXAPRO studio strobes without a built-in receiver, the XTR16 lets them work with today's Godox X-Series 2.4GHz triggers. It plugs into the strobe's USB flash sync port. Set the channel and group and the light fires alongside your newer heads, so a trusted old strobe can stay in use as a backdrop light or a spare.
Channels are set with the small white dip switches on the front, 16 in total, and the trigger needs to be on the same one. A dial picks the group, 0 to 9 and A to F, giving 16 groups to work with on bigger setups.
Because it works by radio rather than line of sight, the light can sit behind a canvas backdrop or round a corner and still fire. Range is up to 50m in an open area. Please note it does not fit older Godox or PiXAPRO speedlites, which used a different receiver.
