Godox XProII TTL Wireless Flash Trigger with App Control

The XProII is Godox's large-screen 2.4GHz transmitter, now with Bluetooth so you can run your lights from the Godox Flash app on your phone. It handles TTL with TTL-capable flashes and High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000s, and the dedicated group buttons make it quick to change one light without scrolling through menus. Choose your camera brand from the options: Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji or Olympus/Panasonic.

There are 32 channels and 99 channel IDs, so you can stay clear of another photographer using the same kit at a busy venue, and a scan feature shows you which channels are quietest before you start. Multi-Shoot mode lets several photographers fire and control one set of lights. TCM takes a TTL reading and turns it into a manual setting, which is handy when you like what TTL gave you and want it locked for the rest of the session.

In the studio it pairs with a Sekonic L-858D fitted with the Godox 2.4GHz module (meter sold separately), so you can set power and fire the lights from the meter. That makes it easy to balance a key light against the light on a painted canvas backdrop. Single-Pin mode switches off every hot shoe contact except the centre firing pin, so the trigger can be used in manual mode on other camera brands.

A couple of notes. The Canon EOS R50 needs Canon's AD-E1 adapter, as its hot shoe is missing the contacts the trigger needs. Hasselblad X-Series bodies such as the X1D, X1D II, X2D 100C and 907X work with Nikon flash systems, so pick the Nikon version for those.
