Godox SB-BW35160 35x160cm Strip Softbox, Bowens S-Type

A strip box gives you a long, narrow band of light that's soft but very easy to place. Set one behind and to the side of your subject and you get a clean rim along the hair and shoulders that separates them from a dark painted backdrop. Bring it round to the front and it's great for carving shape into a face or tracing the edge of a product.

This 35x160cm Godox strip has a reflective lining to make the most of your light, black outer fabric to stop leaks, and two layers of diffusion so the whole front glows evenly with very few hotspots. Unlike barn doors, which give a hard edge and quick fall-off, it stays soft while still keeping the light tightly controlled.

The frame is four rods in a metal alloy ring, so it's light but strong. It's a traditional softbox that you assemble, which takes a couple of minutes, and it has a Bowens S-type fitting. It packs flat into a slim carry case. The flash head and stand are not included.
