Godox Knowled MG2400Bi K2 Bi-Colour LED Light Kit with Flight Case

The Knowled MG2400Bi builds on the MG1200Bi with far more power. It draws 2900W and delivers a steady 2600W of output at every colour temperature, with colour accuracy rated CRI 96+ and TLCI 96+. With the right optics, Godox rates it against traditional 4K PAR and 6K fresnel fixtures, even at more than 10m, while drawing less power. This K2 kit comes in a flight case and ships with the GR45 standard reflector, which gives around 44,600 lux at 3m at 5600K, against around 12,000 lux bare.

The lamp head and controller box are separate, joined by an 8m control cable, so you can rig the light high on a wind-up stand or truss and keep the controls at ground level. The yoke turns through 360° and the mount locks with one hand. It's IP54 rated for use from -20°C to 45°C, and the fan can be removed for cleaning. If your power supply can't meet the start-up demand, holding PRESET and Mode while switching on starts it in a reduced power-limit mode. A reminder appears after a set running time, telling you to clean the front glass with alcohol.

The G-Mount has electrical contacts, so the light recognises the modifier attached and adjusts its colour temperature to keep the look consistent. Control runs over CRMX, DMX via 5-pin XLR, Ethernet, Bluetooth, the onboard controls and a removable panel, plus the Godox Knowled and Light apps and the RC-A6II, RC-R9II and RC-11 remotes.

It's a light for big sets and broadcast stages. Behind a large G-Mount softbox or lantern it can soften and fill a whole studio, including a wide painted canvas backdrop, from a long way back.
