Godox Knowled MG1200Bi Bi-Colour LED Light

The Knowled MG1200Bi is a 1400W bi-colour COB fixture for large studios, broadcast sets and stage, with output Godox puts on a par with a 2K HMI. Colour temperature runs from 2800K to 6500K, and the light holds its full power wherever you set it, so you don't lose output going warm. Accuracy is CRI 96+ and TLCI 96+. Bare, it gives 6,290 lux at 3m at 5600K, and with the GF14 G-Mount fresnel fitted it reaches 86,100 lux at 3m.

The lamp head and controller are IP54 rated and work from -20°C to 45°C, so it copes outdoors in rain, fog or heat. Dimming moves in 0.1% or 10% steps across four curves (linear, S-curve, exponential and logarithmic), the light is flicker-free and tested at up to 12,000 fps, and there are four fan modes so you can keep it quiet when sound matters. Built-in effects cover thunder, broken bulbs, candles, fireworks, explosions and welding.

It uses Godox's G-Mount, which has electrical contacts so the light knows which modifier is attached and corrects its colour temperature to suit. That keeps a key light consistent whether you're using a reflector or a large softbox, which is useful when you're switching modifiers on an interview set in front of a painted canvas backdrop.

Control options include DMX512 over 5-pin XLR with RDM, built-in LumenRadio CRMX (so it also works with LumiAir, Blackout and MadMapper), Ethernet with sACN and Art-Net, and Bluetooth for the Godox Light app. A 2.4GHz receiver takes the RC-A6II and RC-R9II remotes and the RC-11 removable control panel, all sold separately.
