Godox Knowled M600R RGBWW Hard Light Cine LED Light

The Knowled M600R is a full-colour RGBWW hard light for film, broadcast and stage. Alongside white light from 2500K to 10,000K you get HSI and RGB modes, plus built-in profiles that mimic common lighting gels. A green/magenta tint control helps you match awkward sources such as fluorescent tubes. White light is rated CRI 96+ and TLCI 97+, so skin stays true and colour correction later is lighter work.

Output is strong for its size. Bare, it gives around 2,560 lux at 3m at 5600K, and with the BR45 reflector that rises to around 12,900 lux. The optical design keeps heat down, which helps the LED last longer. Brightness moves in 0.1% or 10% steps, there are four dimming curves (linear, S-curve, exponential and logarithmic), and the light is flicker-free, tested at up to 12,000 fps for slow motion. There are 14 effect presets too, including lightning, failing bulbs, camera flashes and TV flicker.

The lamp head and controller are rated IP54, so rain and fog won't stop the day, and the light has been tested down to -20°C with air cooling for hot conditions. For control it takes DMX512 over 5-pin XLR, LumenRadio CRMX, Ethernet, sACN and Art-Net, and it works with the Godox Knowled app over Bluetooth once paired with a TimoLink TRX (sold separately).

The Bowens S-type mount accepts softboxes, beauty dishes and fresnels such as the FLS10. In front of a painted canvas backdrop, a hard coloured light like this is a simple way to add a wash or a graded pool of colour behind the subject.
