Godox Knowled M300D 330W Daylight LED Light with Reflector and Case
The Knowled M300D is a 330W daylight-balanced COB light built for film sets, broadcast studios and stage work. Colour accuracy is rated at CRI 96+ and TLCI 97+, so skin tones come out natural and there's less to fix in the grade. With the supplied Pro reflector it puts out 8,980 lux at 3m, and it turns down far enough for gentle fill when you don't need the full punch.
Brightness moves in 0.1% steps for fine trims, or 10% jumps when you're working fast, and you can choose from four dimming curves: linear, S-curve, exponential and logarithmic. The output is flicker-free and has been tested at frame rates up to 12,000 fps, so slow motion is safe. The cooling fan stays very quiet, which matters on interviews and dialogue scenes where the sound recordist is listening closely. There are also twelve built-in effects, each with four variations, including lightning, a failing bulb, camera flash and TV flicker.
Run it from the mains or from two V-mount batteries (14.8V or 26V) when you're away from a socket. Control it from the Godox Light app, the RC-A6 remote (sold separately) or a DMX desk over 5-pin XLR. CRMX wireless control works once you add a TimoLink receiver (sold separately), which also opens it up to LumiAir, Blackout and MadMapper. It comes with a carry case, and the pipe clamp sits under the first layer of padding.
The Bowens S-type mount takes softboxes, beauty dishes and fresnels. Fit the FLS10 fresnel (sold separately) and the output climbs to 46,400 lux at 3m with a beam you can set anywhere from 10° to 35°. That's a tidy way to throw a defined pool of light across a painted canvas backdrop behind an interview subject, and the LB-02 barn doors (sold separately) will trim the spill further.
