70cm (27.5") White Beauty Dish with Grid

At 70cm, this white beauty dish gives you a broader, softer source than the smaller dishes while keeping the shape and contrast that make a beauty dish worth having. It flatters skin, defines features and leaves round catchlights in the eyes.

Light from the head hits a central deflector and bounces off the white interior, so the whole dish glows evenly and the light wraps round your subject. White reads warmer and more natural than silver, with gentler highlights on skin, which makes it an easy dish to live with for everyday portrait work.

A diffuser cap slides over the front for an even softer look, and the honeycomb grid clips on to narrow the spread and stop light spilling where you don't want it. That's useful in front of a painted canvas backdrop, where a gridded key keeps the background from washing out and lets you place a separate light on the canvas instead.
