5x7ft Butterfly Scrim Frame with Translucent Diffuser (No Stands)

A big scrim is the simplest answer to harsh midday sun. Place this translucent butterfly frame between the light and your subject and hard shadows soften, highlights calm down, and you're far less likely to blow out skin or lose detail in the shadows.

It's just as useful in the studio. Put a strobe behind it and you get a very large, soft source with smooth gradations across the subject, which suits groups, cars, furniture, machinery and shiny products that show every reflection.

The diffusion fabric is held taut on the frame by 22 bungee cords, so it sits flat and even. The aluminium frame is strong but light, resists corrosion and collapses down for storage and transport. Stands and clamps are not included, so you'll need suitable stands, sold separately, to hold it.

Returns are inspected in detail. Anything sent back must arrive in the same condition it left: free of marks and scratches, with every accessory, all the protective plastic and all the inner packaging, undamaged. If anything is marked, missing or damaged, the return may not be refunded, or up to 50% may be taken off the refund.
