3m Telescopic Turtle-Based C-Stand with Boom & Caster Wheels

The full C-stand package: a 3m stainless steel turtle-base stand, a 50in boom arm with two grip heads, and a set of braked castor wheels — everything needed to fly a light or flag anywhere over a set, then roll the whole rig to the next mark. Turtle base means the legs detach from the column for flat storage and transport, and the nested leg design lets several stands tuck close together along a studio wall. The two-section column runs 145-300cm and the stand carries around 10kg, enough for a large strobe with a substantial modifier on the boom. The 75mm rubber castors behave on carpet and hard floor, each with its own brake. One habit worth keeping: always boom over the tallest leg and weight the base — a C-stand rewards being used the way grips use it.
