Grey is the most flexible plain backdrop in a portrait studio: light it hard for near-white, let it fall off for charcoal, or gel it any colour — one 2.7x6m roll covers the lot. The 600gsm vinyl has a true matte face, so there are no hot spots under flash, and marks wipe off with a damp cloth instead of costing you a metre of paper.
