2.5" Replacement Stainless Steel Grip Head for C-Stands

The grip head is the joint that makes a C-stand a C-stand: this stainless steel 2.5in head clamps to any stand with a standard 5/8in baby pin and holds booms, flags, scrims and reflector arms exactly where you set them. Its jaws take four common tube sizes — 24mm, 18mm, 15mm and 7mm — so the same head grips a heavy boom arm one day and a thin flag pin the next. Stainless construction means the teeth and thread keep their bite under real load, where cheaper alloy heads slowly strip and slip. Sold as a single head, without stand or boom. Worth keeping a spare in the kit: it's the part that wears first on a hard-working stand, and the part you miss most mid-shoot.
