A deep red-pink hand painted backdrop with a fine, low texture, a shade darker and richer than our dusty rose. In photos it reads as a warm garnet red, with a little variation across the canvas so it never looks like a flat coloured sheet. At 100x135cm it is our smallest size, made for headshots, head-and-shoulders portraits, pets, children and product or still life work. Red is a bold choice that suits black, white, cream and gold wardrobes, and it makes Christmas and Valentine's work easy. The canvas is reversible. The paint soaks through as it dries and leaves the back cream with strong red marks around the edges and a lighter centre.
