I became interested in photography after I purchased a cheap camera for a holiday and fell in love with the technical aspect of photography. I found it easy to understand camera settings and how to use flash and became fascinated by the fact that I could create my own light and beautiful, exciting photos. Over time, as I got better at lighting, I became more interested in capturing human emotions rather than just creating beautiful photos and have been working on that ever since. I'm looking for a connection like the people in front of my camera. Hand-painted backdrops have played a vital role in my photography development since I started to focus more on human connection due to the mood they help create and how I can use them for colour contrast and harmony.
